Daniel K Lee, DPM
Assistant Clinical Professor |
|
As a faculty member of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr Lee's main motivation is to share and teach the joys of caring for patients, as well as developing relationships as the patients regain their functional lower extremity strength and quality of life. Since 1980, Dr Lee was fortunate to be exposed to multiple podiatric lower extremity deformity in third-world countries during his medical missions. That experience motivated him to become a physician at an early age. The treatment of complex lower extremity deformities are his main focus in clinical excellence and research, including bone and joint preservation and regeneration. The use of unique biomechanical surgical methods and an orthopaedic team approach in surgery and clinic have allowed Dr Lee the opportunity to treat multiple complex deformities here and in many volunteer medical missions. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr Lee enjoys participating in medical missions in third-world countries. |
